Tschuppis is not a typical campsite, but a privately owned site that occasionally hosts guests.

What accommodation options does Tschuppis offer?

There is only one pitch for small campervans, a tipi, and a small caravan pitch. That's all. Additional tents are not permitted, except in the tipi. Please refer to the descriptions of the individual accommodations.

Reservations are only possible with prepayment.

Cancellation policy:

90% refund for cancellations up to 4 weeks before arrival

50% refund for cancellations up to 2 weeks before arrival

20% refund for cancellations up to 1 week before arrival

Exceptions are possible at short notice: If the tipi is available, the campsite will open on the same day for a maximum of 4 people. You can also drive to the tipi with an off-road campervan.

Getting to Bollingen by public transport:

The nearest bus stop is In Wagen. From there, it's about a 45-minute walk through the woods. From the nearest train station, Schmerikon, you can reach the lake in a pleasant 60-minute walk.

How far is it to the lake?

About a 10-minute walk. There's a swimming area with a sunbathing lawn and a fire pit in the village.

Is there parking?

Next to the barn, there's a parking area for the tipi and the campervan.

Depending on your vehicle, tipi guests can also drive right up to the tipi. The other parking spaces are reserved for the residents of Tschuppis.

Where can I shop?

There's no supermarket in Bollingen. The nearest shops are in Jona or Schmerikon.

Are there restaurants in Bollingen?

Yes, there are two restaurants that we both recommend. However, since they are often fully booked, we recommend making a reservation.

What facilities does Tschuppis offer?

There is a shower, a toilet, a sink, a small washing machine, a large communal refrigerator, a capsule coffee machine (Nespresso), a kettle, two hot plates, a microwave, pots, plates, cutlery, glasses and cups, as well as a large communal seating area.

Why must dogs be kept on a leash?

Because there are happy, free-roaming dogs at Tschuppis. Dog owners must pay a deposit of 100 Swiss francs.

​

Why is a deposit required for dog owners?

Because despite some unpleasant experiences, we do not want to introduce a ban on dogs.

Unfortunately, there have been repeated instances of dog owners disregarding the leash requirement. Therefore, strict rules now apply.

Anyone who violates these rules will be asked to leave the house, and their security deposit will be forfeited.

Am I allowed to set up an awning and chairs?

No, that is not permitted. There is a comfortable seating area that can be used by all guests.
